Our Auction Process
Step One
It starts with a preview appointment, introducing the client to our Curator.
Step Two
We will present a catalog to the client with the items we believe we have a market for.
Step Three
Once a signed Auction Agreement has been received, the Town & Sea Curator will set up an appointment to return and photograph the sale.
Step Four
The auction will run for 1-2 weeks on www.townandsea.com and a pickup date will take place within a week from the closing at the location of the sale.
Our Consignment Process
Step One
It starts with a preview appointment, introducing the client to our Curator.
Step Two
We will present a catalog to the client with the items we believe we have a market for.
Step Three
Once a signed Client Agreement has been received, the Town & Sea Curator will set up an appointment to return and photograph the sale.
Step Four
Our logistics team will oversee scheduling the delivery of consigned items to our storage partner’s warehouse.
Step Five
Town & Sea will publish the consigned items to our Reserve page for a 3-month listing period.
Step Six
If there are any unsold items at the end of the listing period, they will be moved into a Town & Sea quarterly warehouse auction.
