Welcome to Town & Sea!
Town & Sea is a boutique online auction and consignment marketplace featuring a curated selection of well-loved treasures for the home. We combine the quality and singularity of a local estate sale with the ease and convenience of a full-service online shopping platform.
From furnishings to artwork to decorative accessories, our offerings are mostly vintage and antique, with the occasional modern twist. Our meticulous curation process (no boxes of old toys or hangers to sift through to get to the good stuff!) ensures every item is one we’ve personally inspected and feel confident will add a layer of character to someone’s home.
Full-Service Platform
Our full-service platform manages all aspects of a sale, from product listing to buyer pickup (even the marketing), making for a uniquely personal and seamless customer experience. Through our consignment and auction offerings, our sellers can efficiently offload items, while our customers are able to find one-of-a-kind pieces for their homes!
What's in a Name?
Our name, Town & Sea, represents the coming together of different communities – in town, on the coast, and in the country – encompassing our aim to be an accessible and inclusive brand. Founded in 2020 and based in Connecticut, we curate across the Tri-State area.
Curation Process
Our curators are all design-savvy women who love the thrill of the hunt. Each of our curators identifies closely with our typical customer, and has a strong sense of which items will resonate with our audience. Our rigorous curation process means our customers can easily discover that rare gem they otherwise may have had to dig (or scroll!) for an hour to uncover…along with a dozen more!

We work hard to create an intimate, human-to-human experience. In addition to supporting other small businesses, we support our clients with a deeply personalized approach. We understand the magnitude of our role as the trusted guardians of the items in our care. Nothing gives us greater joy than re-homing a cherished piece, knowing it will continue to be loved and enjoyed. We understand it can be a sentimental process to auction or sell furniture, and we make our clients feel cared for through every step. This means, they can rest easy knowing that in every interaction with our team, they will always recognize the voice on the other line or the face at the door. And our uniquely transparent business model means they will never have to deal with any unpleasant surprises.
